SHG-95 face mask

Under make India initiative parishodhan technologies Pvt. Ltd. has developed a new hybrid multiply protective face mask as an alternative of N-95 which is uncomfortable to bear and to breath.

This is made by the self help group so that its name is SHG-95 mask. It is made up of cotton clothe with a special filtration layer.

Key features of SHG-95 face mask:

 BDELLOID ROTIFER 

A microscopic animal that was frozen for more than about 24,000 years in Siberian ice now has come back to the life. 

Cryptobiosis is an state of almost completely arrested metabolism. And multicellular animal could withstand tens of thousands of years in cryptobiosis. They had previously identified single celled microbes capable of similar feats. In term of multicellular organisms there has been a report of a 30,000-years-old nematodes worm coming back to life and mosses some plants also have been regenerated after many thousands of years trapped in the ice.

This animal lives in freshwater environments and is about half a millimeter in length.

Once thawed the animal was able to reproduce a sexually using a process called parthenogenesis.

The name is derived from the Latin for wheel bearer, which comes from the corona around their mouths that look like turning wheels. They use these to move and to feed.

Aadhaar verification off-line

 OFF-LINE AADHAR VERIFICATION 


Government of India has announced a new rule for off-line Aadhar verification 

Old rule: In government departments and banks, earlier online verification was allowed through: 

  • Demographic information verification 
  • OTP (one time pin) generation 
  • Biometric verification 
    • Fingerprint identication
    • Iris identification 
New rule: This rule has also added additional modules for verification of Aadhar card holder through:

  • QR Code 
  • Paperless e-kyc ( download able digitally signed)
  • E-Aadhaar & Digilocker provided 
  • Virtual identity number( an additional number provided by UIDAI)can be used in place of Aadhar numbers
  • Offline paper based verification 
Note: 
  1. Through SMS, email, or by off-line paper baesd Aadhar holder would be informed  about status that he/she has been verified. 
  2. A holder will be provided option for consent for Aadhar data use by requesters if he/she denied to give consent then then requester will have to delete all data stored of card holder for non-use in future.
  3. All governments departments and banks will accept only.
